  • Identify, control, and escalate financial risks to prevent increased costs.
  • Monitor financial controls and processes to ensure compliance with internal standards.
  • Ensure compliance with financial processes related to recoveries and reporting.
  • Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
  • Perform General Ledger Reconciliations including payment suspense accounts.
  • Review and action the general ledger.
  • Assist with updating comments on the Suspense Account Dashboard and internal Financial Control (IFC) submission.
  • Review and process business credit card reconciliations.
  • Check or authorize journal and GPT entries.
  • Prepare and manage monthly accruals and provisions for income and expenses.
  • Monitor and optimize expenditure for projects, ensuring alignment with budget allocations.
You will be an ideal candidate if you:
  • Minimum qualification: A Relevant Diploma in Accounting
  • Minimum of at least 1-3 years experience in a similar environment
  • Banking or Financial Industry experience as an added advantage
  • Strong financial reporting and reconciliation expertise
  • Risk identification and mitigation
  • Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
