
Financial Controller

- Identify, control, and escalate financial risks to prevent increased costs.
- Monitor financial controls and processes to ensure compliance with internal standards.
- Ensure compliance with financial processes related to recoveries and reporting.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Perform General Ledger Reconciliations including payment suspense accounts.
- Review and action the general ledger.
- Assist with updating comments on the Suspense Account Dashboard and internal Financial Control (IFC) submission.
- Review and process business credit card reconciliations.
- Check or authorize journal and GPT entries.
- Prepare and manage monthly accruals and provisions for income and expenses.
- Monitor and optimize expenditure for projects, ensuring alignment with budget allocations.
- Minimum qualification: A Relevant Diploma in Accounting
- Minimum of at least 1-3 years experience in a similar environment
- Banking or Financial Industry experience as an added advantage
- Strong financial reporting and reconciliation expertise
- Risk identification and mitigation
