Job DescriptionTo manage the operations within the finance function and ensure good governance in all aspects of the business. Identify, control, and escalate financial risks to prevent increased costs.
Monitor financial controls and processes to ensure compliance with internal standards.
Ensure compliance with financial processes related to recoveries and reporting.
Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Perform General Ledger Reconciliations including payment suspense accounts.
Review and action the general ledger.
Assist with updating comments on the Suspense Account Dashboard and internal Financial Control (IFC) submission.
Review and process business credit card reconciliations.
Check or authorize journal and GPT entries.
Prepare and manage monthly accruals and provisions for income and expenses.
Monitor and optimize expenditure for projects, ensuring alignment with budget allocations.

You will be an ideal candidate if you:

Minimum qualification: A Relevant Diploma in Accounting
Minimum of at least 1-3 years experience in a similar environment
Banking or Financial Industry experience as an added advantage
Strong financial reporting and reconciliation expertise
Risk identification and mitigation
Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
