Company DescriptionNamdeb Diamond Corporation invites interested individuals to be part of alluvial mining operations that offer unique challenges for professionals who wish to be part of a world-class operation.Job DescriptionThe Challenge:The Security Department is seeking applications from suitably qualified Namibian citizens to fill the position of Assistant Security Officer. The successful candidate will ensure effective access and exit control of all persons and property within the mining areas. The successful candidate will further conduct thorough inspections to prevent movement of contraband providing a vigilant security service which detects and/or prevents theft or misappropriation of diamonds and other company assets. Maintaining a high level of alertness and awareness to identify potential security threats whilst adhering to all relevant security policies, procedures, and legal regulations.QualificationsThe Ideal Applicant:

Grade 12 (Minimum 20 points in 5 subjects, including E in English) or equivalent National Senior certificate.
Valid Code 08 driver's license (Manual transmission).
Minimum 2 years experience in a risk-related environment.
Basic Computer literacy (MS Office proficiency)
