Operation and Maintenance Technician Job

• National Diploma (N6) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent related qualification.
• 5 years of proven experience in operation and maintenance of industrial equipment's (electrical and mechanical),such as transformers, motors, compressors, etc.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in medium voltage environment.
• Medium voltage switching certificate (Authorized to operate and switch above 22 kV).
• Strong problem-solving with hands-on and proactive approach, while ensuring safety and quality in all aspects of work.

• Reliability Centered Maintenance: Responsible for the development and implementation of effective reliability engineering procedures, in accordance with asset management philosophy. This includes, development of preventative maintenance schedules, respond to equipment breakdown, diagnose equipment failures, root causes analyses and implementation of condition monitoring findings, while keeping track of maintenance and repair activities using latest technologies such as SAP PM, Microsoft Excel.

• Installation: Assist with the installation of mechanical and electrical equipment's on site, by liaising with different subcontractors and stakeholders, while ensuring that project objectives are met.

• Plant Operation: Monitor and operate the Green Hydrogen Plant, which has been designed for autonomous operation, with occasional intervention at critical points.

• Maintenance: Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on critical equipment's with the plant, and these will include a 5 MW solar plant. Co-ordinate the repair process of ratable and repairable equipment's, while maintaining the inventory of spare parts and tools necessary for maintenance activities.

• Coordination: Coordinating and collaborating with different departments to ensure that project requirements area achieved.

• Execute other duties as and when required.
