- Lead and take ownership of the audit portfolio and engagement teams assigned to you, to deliver high quality audit services to Deloitte Clients;
- Give meaningful input into the development of strategy of the Service Line / Business Area in relation to specific area of expertise
- Builds relationships across service lines for cross-selling opportunities and combined engagement pursuits
- Manages margins effectively through correct budgeting, pricing and profitability management
- Develop high-performing people and teams, leading and supporting them to make an impact that matters, and setting the direction to deliver exceptional client servicesIdentifies and recruits suitable talent for team, balancing correct levels and numbers
- Maintains succession plan for every senior/critical resource, depending on the profile / need expertise
- Mentors and develops team members on an ongoing basis and empower existing senior managers/leaders
- Registered CA
- At least 10 year's experience in audit within the financial services industry
- At least 15 years audit experience at a “Big 4” audit firm
- At least 5 years commercial experience in the financial services industry at a manager and senior management level
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead audit projects and engagement teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to present yourself in a competent and professional manner to the client at all times;
- Conscientious approach to delivering results;
- Active participation and proactive attitude to service delivery;
- Ability to prioritise competing responsibilities;
- Demonstrate lateral thinking skills;
- Demonstrate a broad approach to problem solving;
