- 5-Years + experience in financial services value chain and more specifically commercial insurance broking experience.
- Proven experience in commercial insurance broking or a related field.
- Strong client relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- To identify and acquire new commercial clients through networking, referrals, and market research and to develop and present tailored insurance solutions to meet client needs.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and cross-selling opportunities. Conduct regular portfolio reviews and risk assessments.
- Achieve the retention and growth ratios of existing book through portfolio management and implementing strategies as defined by senior management.
- Prepare and negotiate competitive quotes with insurers to secure favorable terms for clients. Ensure timely delivery of proposals and policy documentation.
- Adhere to underwriting processes with relation to surveys, risk improvements and reinsurance to ensure alignment to minimum standards and best practices.
