The role focuses on achieving sales, retention, and profitability targets while ensuring compliance and delivering exceptional client service.Qualifications
  • National Certificate: Short Term Insurance (NQF: 5)
Additional InformationExperience:
  • 5-Years + experience in financial services value chain and more specifically commercial insurance broking experience.
  • Proven experience in commercial insurance broking or a related field.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
  • To identify and acquire new commercial clients through networking, referrals, and market research and to develop and present tailored insurance solutions to meet client needs.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and cross-selling opportunities. Conduct regular portfolio reviews and risk assessments.
  • Achieve the retention and growth ratios of existing book through portfolio management and implementing strategies as defined by senior management.
  • Prepare and negotiate competitive quotes with insurers to secure favorable terms for clients. Ensure timely delivery of proposals and policy documentation.
  • Adhere to underwriting processes with relation to surveys, risk improvements and reinsurance to ensure alignment to minimum standards and best practices.
