Design and enhance student-centred, technology-integrated instructional materials for blended and hybrid learning environments. Coordinate and support course development initiatives, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and curriculum requirements. Train faculty in instructional design principles and the effective use of educational technologies. Ensure quality assurance by evaluating and improving instructional materials based on feedback and best practices. Embed multimedia and new and emerging technologies into course content to enhance the learning experience. Align learning outcomes with instructional content and assessments as prescribed in the curriculum. Uphold and promote the use of Open Educational Resources (OERs) to support accessible and inclusive learning and effectiveness and perform any additional responsibilities as assigned by superiors.A Master’s degree (NQF Level 9) in Education, Instructional Design, eLearning, Educational Technology, Open and Distance Learning (ODL), or a related field with five (5) years of experience in instructional design systems, models, and the development of technology-enhanced learning materials. Expertise in Learning Theories, Instructional Design Techniques, using Learning Management Systems, Multimedia Tools, and Emerging Educational Technologies. Demonstrated creativity and critical thinking skills as well as excellent English communication (oral and written) skills. Proficiency in course design, assessment strategies, and quality assurance processes. Familiarity with a student-centred approach to teaching and learning. Knowledge of copyright laws and APA referencing standards strong ICT skills and the ability to adapt to emerging trends in educational technology as well as a commitment to professional ethics, reliability, and teamwork.All qualifications must be certified by the Police within the last three (3) months, and all foreign qualifications must be validated by the Namibia Qualifications Authority (NQA). The normal retirement age is 65.
