  • Focal point for all Customs Clearance IN & OUT , interfacing with agents
  • Focal point for COMPANY for all questions/requirements regarding transit in Namibia
  • Support for Technical team based on all matters linked to Transit & Freight forwarding
RSC: Road Safety Coordinator
  • Ensures compliance with national/international Road Safety regulations
  • Writes procedures for road transport safety management
  • Participates in the selection process for External Companies and Transporters, as well as monitoring and evaluation of them
  • Defines and deploys the ICT program
  • Participates in accident/incident analysis
  • Participates in risk assessments
  • Develops, in collaboration with HSE team, safety culture programs for all stakeholders, (External Companies, Drivers, Communities, etc.)
  • Monitors COMPANY Transport Safety Action Plan
  • Leads and coordinates the network of Land Transport Correspondents (LTCs)
Methods:
  • Responsible for keeping all Logistics Procedures & Bridging Documents up to date
  • In charge of following up, organizing, maintaining all new Logistics procedures / memos / policy reviewed by Marine Superintendent, Logistics Superintendent, and Logistics Manager.
  • In charge of following up procedures up to date and promoting them within the team
  • In charge of audit follow-up
  • In charge of updating/proposing KPIs & following their communication & analysis with the objective of further
  • Interface with CMS (Company Management System) Coordinator
Focal point for Cost Control & Finance under the supervision of Logistics Manager
  • For budget preparation & Cost Control with Technical Departments & Finance
  • For contract follow-up / updates
Local Content
  • Focal point for logistics local content initiatives
  • Ensure enforcement of all local content contractual requirements from logistic contractors
  • Identify & promote local logistic providers and propose alternatives to logistic manager for their qualifications
Accountabilities
  • Focal Point for Transit of all Import/ Export equipment
  • Responsible for efficient Road Safety Implementation
  • Focal Point for all Logistics Methods issues, i.e. Budget Follow-up, Contracts Follow-up, KPIs and Procedures
Qualifications/Experience required
  • B.Sc./ B.A or equivalent in Supply Chain/ Logistics/ Finance or Engineering
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in Transit/ Land Transportation/ Customs/ Aviation/ or O&G offshore activities
  • MS-Office expertise. Power BI is a plus
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
