Once your profile is created, navigate to the desired opportunity and apply.PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:The purpose of the position is to efficiently manage the stock movement within the Cooler by receiving stock from production, accurately picking stock based on picking slips, conducting regular stock takes, and ensuring the rotation of stock according to the FIFO (First In, First Out) method. By adhering to these processes, the goal is to minimize stock losses and maintain optimal inventory levels within the Cooler.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:

Grade 12 and a minimum of 2 years' experience in the same/similar position.

PREFERRED ADVANTAGEOUS:

FMCG experience

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Receive finished products from the conveyor and pack stock in the designated area.
Receive picking slip from the Inventory Controller and work out a number of crates required based on product quantity.
Pick stock (fastened on pallets) timeously according to picking slip and pack in the cage for loading.
Perform stock takes daily after loading trucks and complete stock count sheet.
Submit stock count sheet to Inventory Controller
Perform re-counts where discrepancies have been identified.
Perform monthly stock take and submit count sheet to Inventory Controller and Manager Cooler
Perform stock counts on pallets and crates and submit to Inventory Controller
Communicate authorised quality-related concession to the Quality Controller & Systems Supervisor
Rotate stock in the Cooler according to FIFO and cold chain principles.
Handle products with caution to avoid damaging stock and minimize stock losses.
Follow up with Inventory Controller on out-of-stock and blocked products to be picked.
