Permanent position - PhysicianCoverage of the internal medicine department and ICU.Working hours are 08:00 17:00 and on callHPCNA registration1. Salary of N$100 000. RPH will pay the personal taxes for this period.2. The expectation is that the Dr will build his/her practice that they can start their own business after a year or two. In the contract there is a clause that states that if the Drs turnover is more than N$150 000 per month he/she will get 50% of that turnover e.g. the turnover for the month is N$170 000, the Dr will get 50% of the N$20 000.(And this for when the Dr goes on his/her own?) No this is while he/she is working for a salaryNATURE OF RELATIONSHIP8.1 The Specialist Medical Practitioner shall be renumerated the sum of N$100 000.00 for a period of 24 months. If the monthly turnover of the general surgery practice exceeds N$150 000.00 the general surgeon will be compensated additionally on the excess of the N$150 000.00 at a rate of 50%.8.2 The service provider will be registered as a provisional taxpayer at the Namibian Revenue Authority. The practice will be responsible to calculate and pay the service providers provisional tax when due8.3 Membership of the Group medical aid scheme is compulsory.The company contributes 50% to the main members monthly premium, to the medical aid scheme. The employee will be liable for the other 50% according to the option contained in the medical aid scheme.8.4 The Principal will be responsible for paying the followingNAMAF feesWork permit feesHPCNA feesThe practice will be reimbursed pro-rata should tis contract be terminated prematurely by any of the parties.8.5 It is specifically recorded that the Service Provider will perform independent services. It is accordingly recorded that the Service Provider is not an employee and/or any other relevant legislation that may normally be applicable to an employer/employee relationship.8.6 The Service Provider will therefore not be entitled to any benefits, including leave pay or sick leave entitlements as applicable to an employer/employee relationship.8.7 The Practice will also not carry or be responsible for any Workmans Compensation Insurance or any Health or Accident Insurance to cover the Service Provider. The Service Provider will also be required to obtain any other insurances he/she may require including insurance to cover damage or loss of personal equipment/instruments In the Practice. The Practice may at any time request proof of such insurances from the Service Provider and shall not at any stage be liable for any form of loss, damage or personal injury of whatsoever nature incurred by the Service Provider or he/she/its employees. It is required the Service Provider takes out his own income protection insurance.8.8 The Service Provider hereby indemnifies The Practice against any claim, including but not limited to any claim in terms of the AAA or any other form of minimum standards legislation that The Service Providers or member/s of the Service Provider may have or attempt to institute against The Practice at any time.8.9 The Service Provider agrees that he/she shall:a) Not make any representation on behalf of The Practice;b) Not bind the credit of The Practice;c) Not furnish any undertaking, or enter into any agreement on behalf of The Practice;Without prior written approval of the Managing Director.HPCNA
