Key Performance AreasCoordinate and manage the design and development of instructional materials; provide training and support to faculty/course developers in instructional material design; ensure the integration of educational technologies and the use of multimedia strategies; assess the effectiveness of instructional materials, technology integration, and multimedia strategies. Monitor and evaluate the entire course development process; manage the human resources involved in the course development process; stay updated on current trends in instructional system designs, models, and technologies; assist in strategic planning and its implementation and facilitate effective communication within the course development team.Job RequirementsA Master’s Degree (NQF level 9) in Education/Instructional Design/eLearning (Online Learning)/ Educational Technology/ODL or a relevant field is required. With a minimum of five years experience in instructional design systems, models, and the development and implementation of technology[1]enhanced instructional materials. Knowledge and understanding of learning pedagogies and theories, instructional design techniques and systems, learning management systems (e.g., MOODLE, Canvas), educational technology tools, and techno-pedagogies are essential. Excellent interactive writing skills, multimedia application in instructional course materials, and excellent facilitation, report writing, analytical, ICT, and educational technology skills.
